How to install OpenProj 1.4 in Ubuntu 13.04

There are few methods to install OpenProj in Ubuntu but I'll describe only one method in this post.
First thing you have to do download the Debian package from here. After downloading it and can run it by just double clicking on it or in terminal entering following command

 sudo dpkg -i openproj-1.4-2_all.deb

and can run it. Then it'll open Ubuntu software center window for installing OpenProj. By that you can install OpenProj. If your Java vender is Oracle Corporation when running OpenProj it'll show a error message and abort further processing.

Error Message

It says us to change run.cnf file to set auto-detection properties. To do that we have to go home folder but it doesn't generally shows a folder named ".openproj" so enter ctrl+h. Then you can see many folders and their name begin with "." in that you can find".opneproj" folder and open run.conf file with text editor.

In that file you can see entry saying
 JAVA_OPTS="-Xms128m -Xmx768m"
you have to change it to
 JAVA_OPTS="-Djava.vendor=Sun -Xms128m -Xmx768m"
Then you are done. Go ahead and run OpenProj. (by )
